Day 114: This is murderous Miss Frankie from one of my favourite shorts, Rooty Toot Toot. Beautiful character designs by John Hubley.
I recently got my UPA Jolly Frolics DVD in the mail, so basically I’ve had it on repeat ever since. I was able to see most of the classics (Rooty Toot Toot, Tell Tale Heart, Gerald McBoing Boing and Madeline) at MIAF last year projected in 35mm film. Now I can see the rest in amazing quality. Sooo pretty.

Day 110: Another from workshop week at the Malthouse. Portrait of the same person on day 109, in slightly different style.
